US Shredder Hires Nonferrous Specialist Veteran
8 September 2012
Trussville, AL – The US Shredder and Castings Group announced it has added a Nonferrous Separation Systems Specialist to its staff. Chris Melenick joined the company in August 2012. Prior to joining US Shredder, Chris served as the General Manager of one of the world’s top nonferrous separation contract processors. His responsibility was to use state of the art separation equipment to extract the maximum amount of metals in Auto Shredder Residue that the company processed and to make sure it was separated in a condition to maximize the materials market value.
US Shredder has become a top supplier of nonferrous separation equipment. Over the last 4 years, the company has installed or upgraded a significant amount of nonferrous systems throughout the world. “We’ve become a leader in nonferrous separation systems through a step by step approach with our customers to first show them what they have in their ASR and then a ROI exercise that validates their decision to purchase. So many of our competitors use laboratory conditions to show the effectiveness of their equipment. What’s missing is the knowledge of proper separation before the material is presented to the eddy current or other sensor. This is where Melenick’s background is so valuable to our company,” commented company President Bill Tigner. Chris can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. He will based out of a Winston-Salem, NC office.
The US Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap shredders, control systems, downstream systems, non ferrous recovery, air systems, scrap shears, balers, and loggers; as well as shredder castings, service, engineering and consulting to the worldwide scrap industry.
